1984, The Beginning
Mark Davis graduates from The University of Mississippi School of Law and begins practicing law with a large insurance litigation firm on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
1988, Change in Direction
Mark Davis joins a well-known plaintiff personal injury firm and handles his first of thousands of personal injury cases.
1995, A Journey of Mass Commitment
The firm enters into pharmaceutical and medical device mass torts and embarks on a journey to change the lives of many.
1997, Another Beginning
Martin Crump receives his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law and joins a plaintiff litigation firm in North Mississippi.
1999, A Case to Remember
The law firm is instrumental in the settlement of the second group of Fen-Phen cases in the country. Mark Davis is named National Law Journal’s Litigator of the Month for November 2000.
2000, A Supreme Milestone
Martin Crump has significant involvement with a landmark case in the United States Supreme Court.
2003, Accepted Nationwide
Davis & Crump expands its reach and begins accepting cases throughout all fifty states.
2005, Catastrophe on the Coast
Damaged caused by Hurricane Katrina was devastating for thousands. Davis & Crump becomes the first commercial business located on the beach in Gulfport to reopen after the storm.
2009, A Hollow Victory
A significantly intoxicated driver kills three individuals and herself in a horrific car accident. Davis & Crump represent the three victims in the dram shop case and receives a $15 million dollar wrongful death judgment.
2010, A Leader Amongst his Peers
Martin Crump is selected to the first of many Plaintiff Steering Committees in pharmaceutical and medical device litigations.
2014, A Historic Move
Davis & Crump purchase a historic building built in 1903 in downtown Gulfport. After a year of renovation, doors to the new office open and the staff nearly doubles in size.
